Coffee... & Catchup?
Coffee... & Catchup?
About Coffee & Catchup:
Coffee & Catchup was started in July of 2014 by San Francisco actors Cameron Mark Lewis and Taylor Lambert as a way to connect and unite artists and filmmakers of the Bay Area to help foster a stronger community. C&C accomplishes this by serving as a weekly in-person networking and collaboration forum, connecting the various communities and organizations with a variety of discussions and guest speakers.
Coffee & Catchup started with just 3 people at the first morning meeting, and in just a year and a half has organically grown to include over 1,000 members of the Bay Area Entertainment community, including well known casting directors, talent agents, actors, directors, producers, production companies, teachers, coaches, and more!
Coffee & Catchup is planning to expand the number meeting locations in 2016 in order create stronger micro-communities in all of the different parts of the Bay Area.
About the Founders:
Cameron Mark Lewis: Cameron moved out to the Bay Area in January, 2013, to pursue a career as a freelance creative. Starting fresh off the boat, Cameron started out modeling and acting then quickly found a passion for working behind the camera after spending the first two years of his career as a talent. Cameron wrote, directed, and produced his first production in January 2014. Since then, Cameron has served as a creative producer, director, and actor on dozens of commercial and media projects with creative agencies around the Bay Area for some of the top brands including Google, Intel, Cisco, Square, Benefit, T-Mobile, Tandem Capital, Slick, WeVideo, Virool, Suitable Technologies (Beam), and more. In June 2014, Cameron partnered with model, actor, and host, Taylor Lambert, and together they started hosting Coffee & Catchup, a weekly networking and collaboration forum for other Freelance Creatives in the Bay Area entertainment community. Cameron is the President of Coffee & Catchup.
Taylor Lambert: Taylor graduated with a B.A. in Theatre from Bard College, after training at NYU Tisch in New York City. He has always had a flare for performance in his heart! In 2012, Taylor signed with Stars the Agency in San Francisco and has since appeared in over 40 performances, including major roles in films; plays, such as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet at the Castello Di Amorosa in Calistoga; musicals, such as Brother Leo in Francis in the Schools, a play performed to over two thousand disadvantaged Bay Area schoolchildren; corporate industrials; national commercials; motion capture video games; and national television programs. Previous clients include: Cisco, Google, Intel, Adobe, Polycom, Credit Karma, Wells Fargo, and BMW to name a few. Taylor continues to host and act throughout the Bay Area.
